This is the key to the Recretec system.  Two half-turn latches that open up endless possibilities.  Whether you want to have different modules for different things like a drybox for multi-day that you swap out for a bench seat for day trips.  Or, just a fast way to take your frame apart to make the boat lighter so you can load it onto the trailer.  The days of 400 straps are gone when you choose Recretec.    

The Lightest Frames Available

Our frames are designed to have some flex & articulation built in.  Think about a suspension bridge.  If it was too rigid it would be popping rivets and welds every time the wind blew.  Instead it sways and moves with the wind rather than trying to fight it.  Same goes for our frames with big water.  Rather than being welded together at every joint, we use quick release pins which allows that flex & articulation.  Why go through the trouble you ask?  Because we can use much lighter materials like our exclusive thin walled rectangular tubing. Also, your frame disassembles with no tools because of the pins.  Now add to that our quick release dry boxes to quickly lighten the load even further.  Genius might be going a little too far, but we don't think it's a stretch to say its the best design you can buy.

Dual Rail Design

Our dual rail design adds a few key benefits.  We can add diamond plate making it extremely easy to walk around the boat.  Also, since our end caps are contoured to the shape of a boat, you get an extremely solid fit to the point where you think you might not even need straps.  Suddenly every stroke you take feels fantastic because you're not losing any power to your frame moving independently of your boat.

Adjustability on The Fly

Adjustability is one of the key features that makes Recretec really stand out from the pack.  Sliding seats, Multiple heights of oar towers that move forward & back & quick adjust footbars.  The combination of the three allows just about anybody from 6'8" to 4'11 row your boat.

We bend, fold, cut, punch, rivet & weld every single drybox in house.  Our raised lip design ensures extremely rigid structure allowing us to use lighter weight aluminium.  More importantly, it makes it impossible for water to get in.  Add to that our specially sourced Poron closed cell gasket and you have the finest boxes money can buy.  

Choose Your Color

We happen to own a powder coating shop so we can oversee the quality control in our process from the first weld to the final finish.  We have some standard colors and endless custom colors to choose from.  If you're like us and hate all those black marks on your boat from other aluminium frames, powder coating is the way to go.
