This is a popular way to start. Two full sized boxes and a 150+ quart cooler bay. If you find yourself fishing with just a single buddy in the front, this is the way to go. It leaves tons of drybag cargo space in the stern for multi-day floats. You can always add a stern standing platform later or on days where you have more than one friend.
